Leaving Spinal Unit

This week Conor was discharged from the PA Spinal Unit, seven months after his injury.

We would like to thank the PA Spinal Unit for their specialised care.

Special thanks to the nursing staff for putting up with Conor’s teenage grunts and 11am sleep-ins.

Thanks also to Khahn the physio for understanding Conor’s jokes (and grunts) and Laura the OT for being co- record holder (with Conor) of tallest Jenga tower.

From the moment we rushed through the door of the PA to find the surgeon preppped and waiting for Conor,  to the day we left the care has been informed, patient centred, expert and compassionate.

Thank you to all the staff at the PA Hospital including ED, Surgery, ICU, Orthopaedic, rehab and support services.
