Four months on: things are looking up for Conor Tweedy

With a bit of help he's able to walk over 20 steps

On Saturday the 21st of July...a school boys rugby game in Brisbane went horribly wrong.

16 year old Conor Tweedy, playing at prop for Gregory Terrace, suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury.

A freak accident but Conor was not alone. Three other boys also suffered series spinal injuries on the rugby field all within the space of just three weeks.

Almost 4 months on from that scrum collapse, Conor has been able to stand up at the parallel bars and take a few steps.

His parents are Sean and Bec - they spoke to Craig and Loretta about Conor's amazing progress.
